PEG Project Start Checklist

Initial information needed for a first PEG project review

Project size

Please start with the planned DC project size. This page does not submit any data; it helps prepare a clear e-mail with the required project information and attachments.

We are happy about every PV project that helps make energy cleaner, more independent and more accessible.

PEG is not an off-the-shelf mounting system. Each PEG project is engineered individually: wind loads and snow loads are checked, structural calculations are prepared, and the material configuration is adapted to the project conditions. Because PEG is unique and cannot be compared directly with conventional mounting systems, Jurchen Technology provides the complete engineering package for its customers.

The engineering effort is often similar whether a project has 500 kWp or is utility scale. For projects in the selected size class, this can make project-specific engineering economically difficult to justify.

For this reason, we created the KWatt Partner concept: a practical “one size fits many” approach for projects in this size class. It is not a universal solution for every site, because every mounting system has technical limits, but it offers a good, efficient and economical way to realize these projects through trained regional partners.

Companies interested in becoming a KWatt partner should be able to cover a country or defined region, operate their own installation team, provide a minimum level of engineering capability, keep local stock, and purchase and store several PEG sets. Details are clarified during the partner application process. Jurchen Technology trains partners and aims to work with preferred regional partners without granting strict exclusivity.
