What´s smartFLAP®?

smartFLAP® is a fixed tilt solar racking system for large photovoltaic modules. The system is optimized for FirstSolar Series 6 modules. smartFLAP® has rails with flaps.

What´s special about this solar mounting system?

The flaps allow exact positioning of the modules and prevent them from slipping backwards while the rails act as a guidance/track up to the final position.

Three step module mounting:

1st Step: Safe Placing

The module is placed on the lowest part of the two rails. The module is safely positioned and cannot slip along the rails due to the presence of flaps.

2nd Step: Easy Sliding

The module is pushed to its final position safely using the mop-like rod, without standing underneath the substructure. The module cannot fall sideways due to the shape of the rails and cannot slip down due to the presence of the flaps.

3rd Step: Fast Fixing

Bolts are installed from underneath the module while standing on the ground without the need to climb on the substructure. The smart bolting solution connects two modules simultaneously.
