The water reservoir Alonim in Israel was realized in December with 4,000 of our waterproof ArCon cable harnesses. The floating substructure was supplied by Sungrow Floating. The ArCon cabling system provides a cost-efficient solution for DC Cabling on FPV, with 50% or less DC Cabling compared to other cabling solutions, while preserving high quality and long term sustainability. Floating solar systems on water reservoirs is a new technology implemented in few countries. It offers several benefits such as efficient land use, reduction of water evaporation and better system performance due to the water cooling the PV modules.
