Helmstadt, Germany - Jurchen Technology has had its innovative JuCon cable system certified by TÜV Rheinland for up to 1500V. JuCon is the new product name, replacing the older name "ArCon".
"Following this new certification, we decided to rename the product range" explained Michael Jurchen, Managing Director of Jurchen Technology GmbH. "The new TÜV criteria had become more strict again compared to the previous TÜV standard. At the same time, approval for our inline fuses has granted as well. This enables the production of complete DC cable harnesses to the TÜV standard."
The system is proven in the globally market since 2012 with the solar power plants of more than 3 GW equipped with JuCon DC harnesses. The product has a special vulcanization process with an irreversible bond between the cables and the moulding material, which guarantees extremely robust tightness. For this reason, JuCon was successfully used in several floating solar projects. The system is produced in Germany and customized to project specifications. Compared to other DC cable systems the transition resistance is minimal which contributes to the yield of the solar power plant.
Jurchen Technology will present its innovative JuCon system at the Intersolar Europe fair (hall A5, booth 336) in Munich during 11th – 13th May 2022.
